Our Story

From Nurse to Fitness Leader

Deborah Crawford spent years in healthcare before discovering that movement transforms not just bodies but confidence, mental health, and connection.

She built Fitness by the Lake to be the space she wished had existed — where women at every stage of life support each other. From expecting mothers to women in their 60s rediscovering mobility, this studio welcomes them all.

Steps from the Port Credit lakefront, the studio draws energy from the water. Classes are intimate, instructors are certified, and every member is known by name.
